Several document reviews indicate that the community sector plays a strategic role in HIV and AIDS control. Not only in promotion and prevention efforts but currently, more and more community groups are providing assistance to people living with HIV (PLHIV). Two community groups that have made a real contribution to HIV issues in the Belu district are the AIDS Care Community and Peer Support Groups. What is their actual role in HIV and AIDS control in the Belu District?
